Outpatient Treatment Services
Outpatient is the largest of all Detroit Central City programs, using recovery focused principles to provide face to face and indirect services to over 1,600 adults at any given time, who are experiencing moderate to severe mental, emotional, and/or substance abuse difficulties. Outpatient works to ensure that clients are provided with the services which will enable them to live in the least restrictive environment and optimize involvement in their community. Staff strive to reduce adverse personal and social effects of the client’s mental illness, prevent hospitalization, manage psychiatric symptoms, enhance personal skills, and establish optimal individual functioning.
