DCC is designated as an approved practices service site in a community with limited access to health care by the National Health Service Corps (NHSC). In exchange for committing to service at DCC, NHSC provides financial support in the form of student loan repayment and scholarships.
Provide primary care services to patients at DCC Health Center
Works collaboratively with the Health Educator to connect persons in the community with services
Supports health center operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff
Performs a variety of accounting tasks
Will provide case management service and assist in triaging identified individuals to appropriate housing options and mental health needs in the agency and on an outreach basis. LMSW required.
Provide primary care services to patients and clinical leadership at DCC Health Center.
Assumes primary case responsibilities for adult individuals, families and groups for Clinical Services. LMSW required.
Direct the performance of a variety of supportive nursing activities designed to develop, implement and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
The Peer Specialist is someone who has received mental health services and, at the time of employment, demonstrates a willingness to share his or her knowledge and skills in obtaining recovery with other consumers.
Responsible to the Chief Psychiatrist at Detroit Central City Community Mental Health, Incorporated for the provision of specialized psychiatric services which include, but are not limited to: psychiatric evaluations, medication reviews, and consultation on an on-going basis to the Treatment Team in the development and implementation of direct services.
