DCC is designated as an approved practices service site in a community with limited access to health care by the National Health Service Corps (NHSC). In exchange for committing to service at DCC, NHSC provides financial support in the form of student loan repayment and scholarships.

Will provide case management service and assist in triaging identified individuals to appropriate housing options and mental health needs in the agency and on an outreach basis.

HEALTH CENTER LPN/Medical Assistant (F/T) – actively seeking applicants

Responsible for providing basic health services and clerical support for health center.

HEALTH CENTER Family Nurse Practitioner (F/T and P/T) – actively seeking applicants

Provide primary care services to patients and clinical leadership at DCC Health Center.

Direct the performance of a variety of supportive nursing activities designed to develop, implement and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Part-time Driver: Mental Health Court – Actively seeking applicants

Responsible for consumer transportation for Mental Health Court Program.

Certified Peer Support Specialist

The Peer Specialist is someone who has received mental health services and, at the time of employment, demonstrates a willingness to share his or her knowledge and skills in obtaining recovery with other consumers.

Psychiatrist – Actively seeking applications (P/T)

Responsible to the Chief Psychiatrist at Detroit Central City Community Mental Health, Incorporated for the provision of specialized psychiatric services which include, but are not limited to: psychiatric evaluations, medication reviews, and consultation on an on-going basis to the Treatment Team in the development and implementation of direct services.
