Clothing Room
The Clothing Room provides donated clothes, shoes, coats and other items to clients in need of basic necessities as well as the appropriate clothing to clients seeking employment. The Clothing Room is operated daily by Detroit Central City clients who have been hired to provide the services. These positions are classified as transitional employment opportunities and provide client training in the retail business.
Service Eligibility
Primarily Detroit Central City clients, however the clothing room is open to persons in need.
Services Provided
Detroit Central City helps the client identify needs and then works with them to obtain donated or reasonably priced items to live and work comfortably.
